Data we collect

• Form and calculator: full name, phone, email (if given), address of the property, type of renovation and anything you tell us about the project.
• Phone calls: your number and what you explain about the work.
• WhatsApp: your number, profile name and the messages or photos you send.

Why we use it

• To handle your request and contact you about it.
• To get you a quote from a local renovation company.
• To follow up the request until it is closed.

We will not send you advertising or newsletters.

Legal basis

• Your own request: you ask us to find you a quote, and we use your data for that (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps taken at your request before a contract).
• Any marketing would require a separate, explicit consent from you.

Who receives your data

To get you a quote, your data does leave RIM. Recipients are:

• The manager responsible for the Málaga area, who reviews your request and contacts you.
• The renovation company that will quote the work. It receives your name, phone, address and project details. If you then hire it, it handles your data as a controller in its own right.
• Technical providers acting on our behalf only: website hosting, CRM and database, email and messaging (phone and WhatsApp).
• Public authorities, only where the law requires it.

Address suggestions (Esri and Photon)

• As you type the address in the form, we suggest matching streets.
• Only the text of the address field is sent, from our server rather than your browser (your IP is not shared), to the geocoding service of Esri (Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc., Redlands, California, USA).
• If Esri does not respond, Photon (komoot GmbH, Germany), based on OpenStreetMap, is used instead.
• Searches may stay in the server cache for up to 7 days, unlinked to any person. No cookies are set.
• Esri is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023), so the transfer relies on Art. 45 GDPR; the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b). That is why “Powered by Esri” appears below the suggestions.

How long we keep it

• While your request is open.
• If no work goes ahead: up to 2 years from the last contact, then deleted.
• If work goes ahead: for as long as our legal obligations require.

Your rights

• Access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability.
• Email [email protected] stating which right you wish to exercise. We reply within one month.
• You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency: aepd.es.
